Given price of single order of wings = $12
And also given that for half the price of single order, we will get [tex]1\frac{1}{2}[/tex] order of wings with new deal.
Let x be the price of wings with new deal.
Then [tex]1\frac{1}{2}[/tex] order of wings price = [tex]1\frac{1}{2}* x = \frac{3}{2}*x[/tex]
But we are getting at half price of single order = [tex]\frac{12}{2}[/tex] = $6
Hence [tex]\frac{3x}{2} =6[/tex]
[tex]x=\frac{6*2}{3} = 4$[/tex]
So with new deal, price of wings is 4$
