so 5 is our x value when f(x) is f(5)

so this problem is a lot simpler than it seems

1. plug in your x value (5) into the equation:3(5)+4
2. multiply: 15+4
3. add: 19

so f(5) when f(x) = 3x+4 is 19

if you have any questions or need any guidance with any other problems let me know:)
