−8−2y−14x=0

add 14x to both sides

−14x−2y−8+14x=0+14x

−2y−8=14x

Add 8 to both sides.

−2y−8+8=14x+8

−2y=14x+8

Divide both sides by -2.

-2y=14x+8 / -2

y=−7x−4

y=−7x−4
