Translation: 6 + 2x = -20

If you want to solve it though, here it is:
First, Isolate the variable x by itself.
For example, adding -6 to both sides.
Which turns into 2x = -26
Divide by 2 on both sides.
2x/2 = -26/2

Answer: x = -13
