Kinetic Energy= 1/2 x mass x velocity^2

600 = 1/2 x 8 x velocity^2

(Divide 600 by 1/2 and 8)

600/(1/2) = 8 x velocity^2

1200/8 = velocity^2

150 = velocity^2

(Square toot both sides)

12 m/s = velocity
