line is perpenducular to y=x+1

slope of y=x+1 is 1

So slope of perpendicular line is -1

And it passes through (1,1)

So, as we know eq of line is

y-y1=m(x-x1)

X1,y1 denotes a point on line and m denotes a slope

So, fetching above values

y-1=-1(x-1)

y-1=-x+1

y+x=2

y+x-2=0 is required equation
