The horizontal shift depends on the value of h . The horizontal shift is described as: g(x)=f(x+h) g ( x ) = f ( x + h ) - The graph is shifted to the left h units. g(x)=f(x−h) g ( x ) = f ( x - h ) - The graph is shifted to the right h units.
