Man vs. Man: When one person is against another is called Man vs. man conflict.  It could be one or more characters. Examples: hero vs. villain or two people participate for the same thing.

Man vs. Nature: When the weather or environment becomes a hindrance to the main character. In other words, when Nature is working against a person.

Man vs. Society: When the conflict involves a between character and the rules or laws that govern the society in which a character lives. Example:

The Cold Equations is an example of this conflict because the government rules working against Marilyn's favor.

Man vs. Self: When the main character of the story has a struggle with him or herself. The protagonist has to control themselves to gain his/her goal.

Man vs. Society: because the government rules do not work in Marilyn's favor, she slinks onto the ship and must be killed.

Man vs. Man: because the stowaway creating a mess for the pilot.

Man vs. Nature: because the physical law becomes a hindrance to Marilyn.

Man vs. Self: because the pilot has an internal conflict with himself because of the feelings of guilt used to haunt him because he could not do anything to save Marilyn, and he felt terrible that she had to die.
