Step-by-step explanation:

gradient of A: (54-2)/(-23-(-3)) = 52/-20 = -2.6

since a and b are parallel, gradient is same

let eqn of b be y = mx + c

0 = -2.6(-8) + c

c = -20.8

therefore eqn is y = 2.6x - 20.8
