Draw a number line. Make sure 0 and 1 are on the number line.

Between these two endpoints, divide the region into 3 equal spaces.

Then let's label the tickmarks as A,B,C,D

A is at 0 while D is at 1

The letter B is at the 1/3 marker and C is at the 2/3 marker
