= 8x² + 6x - 2 = 228

= 8x² + 6x - 230 = 0

= 2(4x² + 3x - 115) = 0

= 2(4x² + 23x - 20x - 115) =0

= 2(x(4x +23) -5(x - 23) )= 0

= 2((x-5)(4x+23)) = 0

x = 5 , x = -23/4

let x = 5

so length 4x - 1

= 4 × 5 - 1

= 19 ft

width = 2x + 2

= 2 × 5 + 2

= 22 ft
