In rhombus JKLM, JK=8x−17JK=8x−17 and KL=6x−5KL=6x−5. What is the value of x?

Rhombus s a simple (non-self-intersecting) quadrilateral whose four sides all have the same length. Another name is equilateral quadrilateral, since equilateral means that all of its sides are equal in length. 

So JK = KL

8x – 17 = 6x -5

2x = 12

X = 6
