tinku is fond of collecting spiders and insects. He knows spiders have 8 legs and insects have 6 legs. he counted 36 legs. How many of each does he have in hi collection?

Let, number of spiders = x
number of insects = y

6x + 8y = 36

remember, legs can't be in fraction or decimal.

So, only (3, 2) fits with that.

So, there are 3 spiders & 2 insects in his collection.
