Answer:

3x+y=23

6x-y=50

2(3x+y)=2(23)

6x+2y=46

(6x-y)-(6x+2y)=50-46

-3y=4

y=-4÷3

=-4/3

x=[23-(-4/3)]÷3

=24/1/3÷3

=73/3÷3

=73/9
