Studying the mayflower compact would be able to improve our society today because of the fact that it would help to show the need why the nation was formed and the reasons why the nation has to stay bound together.
The term Mayflower compact is the term that has to do with the agreement that was created that was intended to bind all of the colonies of the United States together. The compact was created in order to establish the colony that was known to have been close to the Hudson river.
The agreement was between the pilgrims and those that were on the Mayflower as Passengers. The Compact was done in order to have the colonists stick together especially since they had a common fight which was to establish self rule.
