Slope-intercept form : y-y₁=m(x-x₁)

Passes through (-12, 7)

Slope = -5/3

m = slope

Simply plug everything in :)

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y - 7 = -5/3(x + 12)

Simplify.

y - 7 = -5/3x - 20

Add 7 to both sides.

y = -5/3x = -13
