f(x)=x^2+2x+1 & g(x)=3(x+1)^2
now, f(x)+g(x)
=x^2+2x+1+3(x+1)^2
=x^2+2x+1+3(x^2+2x+1)
=x^2+2x+1+3x^2+6x+3
=4x^2+8x+4<===answer(c)
next:
f(x)=x^2-1 & g(x)=x+3
now, f(g(x))=(x+3)^ -1
=x^2+6x+9-1
=x^2+6x+8<====answer(b)
