Read Mike McRae's article "Stress in your early childhood could actually make the brain's DNA remap itself" and critically discuss it. Your essay may be a positive response to the article, or better, you could choose to raise a critical point against the author's view. The most important point to remember is that you are expected to use the logical skills that you learn in our textbook chapters when you write your essays. Use those skills you have learned so far as much as possible.

Answer: I agree that Stress in your early childhood could actually make the brain's DNA remap itself but don't have the time to explain in too much detail.

Explanation: I grew up with loud and rowdy family members who were all blunt and critical of many things that I did. Now that I'm mature enough to acknowledge that that was a problem in my development I pride myself on being the black sheep of the family so to speak, and presenting myself in a calm intellectual manner, wishing to help others when they need it and to support their own thoughts above indoctrination and pushing them into my ideals. I feel as though due to my family's direct comments and influence in my life that as a parent I must make it my personal mission to support my child and allow them the opportunities that I was not given, or the kindness that many families cherish that I was unfortunate enough to not receive as I hoped for. logically a person is 50% of each of their parents but having a step mother influence me more positively than my actual mother may have also been part of my differing thoughts and lifestyle. I hope this helps in any way even though I did not read the article and only wished to voice my opinion. Please take note of that and don't assume I have done any research on this topic.
