The Gilded Age and Progressive Age are related in that both heavily contributed towards the advancement of the newly formed United States of America. Whereas one, the Progressive Era, aided in the basic legal foundations of the United States, the other, the Gilded Era, capitalized upon such foundations to catapult the newly formed country into a direction of economic prosperity and growth.
