An emergent leader is a person who take on tasks voluntarily; tasks such as helping co workers to present a more quality work, encouraging consensus among colleagues and such other acts of leadership. An assigned leader is a leader, who is placed in a position of leadership by others. Such leaders derived their authority from their position.
